Every matriarch I photograph says the same thing when I call to confirm: “I’m too old for this.” She is not. She is exactly the right age. The face she carries right now, the lines, the softness, the strength in her eyes is the face her great-grandchildren will search for and I want to capture it with the reverence it deserves.

My clients’ investments vary depending on their needs and vision. Some spend as little as $1,290, while others invest $10,000 or more for a fully custom experience. Whatever your budget, I work closely with you to craft a collection that feels meaningful and special.

A: We regularly photograph 2-4 generations and have accommodated family groups of up to 15 people. During the Design Strategy Session, we plan the logistics, groupings, and posing so session day runs smoothly regardless of size.

A: Every matriarch resists. Every single one. Frame it as YOUR gift to the family not something she needs to do for herself. Say: “Mom, I need this portrait of you. For me. For the kids. Please let me give you this.” She will still protest. Book it anyway. By session’s end, she will tell you it was the most special thing she’s done in years.

A: The studio environment gives us complete control over lighting, which produces the most consistent, museum-quality results. However, for large family groups or clients who want an environmental portrait incorporating their home or property, location sessions can be arranged. We discuss this during the Design Strategy Session.
